1. Services

Murray Media provides professional sports photography services including solo athlete sessions, team packages, and tournament coverage across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. By booking a session, you agree to these terms.

2. Booking & Deposits

2.1 A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session date.

2.2 The remaining 75% balance is due upon delivery of edited photos.

2.3 Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to a different date with at least 48 hours notice.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

3.1 Client Cancellations:

• 48+ hours notice: Full refund minus deposit
• Less than 48 hours: 50% refund
• Day-of cancellation: No refund (reschedule available within 30 days)

3.2 Murray Media Cancellations:

• If we cancel for any reason, you receive a full refund including deposit
• We are not responsible for venue cancellations or weather-related postponements

4. Photo Delivery

4.1 Preview galleries are delivered same-day when possible.

4.2 Fully edited photos are delivered within 48 hours of the session.

4.3 Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee.

4.4 All photos are delivered digitally via Google Drive or similar platform.

4.5 We retain all photos for 90 days. After that, storage is not guaranteed.

5. Usage Rights

5.1 You receive full personal and commercial usage rights for all delivered photos.

5.2 You may use photos for:

• Social media posts
• Recruiting profiles and highlight reels
• Team websites and promotional materials
• Print for personal use

5.3 Murray Media retains the right to use photos for portfolio and promotional purposes.

5.4 Photo credit ("Photo by Murray Media" or "@colinmurraymedia") is appreciated but not required.

6. Conduct & Cooperation

6.1 You agree to arrive on time, provide accurate event details, cooperate during the session, and respect venue rules and photography policies.

6.2 We may refuse service or end a session early if client behavior is disruptive, the venue prohibits photography, or safety concerns arise. In these cases, no refund will be issued.

7. Venue Access & Permissions

7.1 You are responsible for ensuring we have permission to photograph at the venue.

7.2 If venue staff asks us to stop shooting, the session ends with no refund.

7.3 Tournament packages assume general spectator access. If credentials are required, you must arrange them.

8. Liability

8.1 Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the session.

8.2 We are not liable for injuries during sessions, lost opportunities due to missed shots, or dissatisfaction with photo quality (subjective).

8.3 You agree to indemnify Murray Media against any claims arising from your use of the photos.

9. Minors

If photographing minors, parent/guardian consent is required. We assume consent is granted when booking a team or youth sports package. If you do not want your child photographed, notify us before the session.

10. Payment

Accepted payment methods: E-transfer (preferred), Credit/Debit via Square, PayPal invoice. Payment is due upon delivery of final photos. Failure to pay within 7 days may result in removal of download access and withholding of future bookings.

11. Disputes

If you're unhappy with the service, contact us within 7 days of photo delivery. We will work to resolve issues fairly. Disputes will be governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

• Share portfolio photos on social media and our website
• Analyze website traffic and improve our services

4. How We Share Your Information

We DO NOT sell your personal information to third parties.

We may share your information with:

• Payment processors (Square, PayPal)
• Email providers for booking confirmations
• File hosting services (Google Drive) for photo delivery
• Legal authorities if required by law

Portfolio Use: Photos may be shared on our website, social media, and marketing materials. If you prefer your photos NOT be used publicly, email us at murraymedianewmarket@gmail.com.

5. Photo Privacy

5.1 Personal Use: Photos delivered to you are yours to use.

5.2 Portfolio Use: We retain the right to use photos for promotional purposes. We will remove photos from our portfolio upon request.

5.3 Minors: We assume parent/guardian consent when photographing youth sports. Parents can request removal of photos at any time.

6. Data Retention

Personal Information: Stored for up to 2 years for follow-up bookings. Can be deleted upon request.

Photos: We retain photos for 90 days after delivery. Portfolio photos may be kept indefinitely unless you request removal.

Payment Information: We do not store credit card details. Payment processors handle and store payment data securely.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal information we have about you
• Request corrections to inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Request removal of your photos from our portfolio
• Opt out of marketing emails at any time

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including secure HTTPS connections, encrypted file transfers, and password-protected accounts. While we take precautions, no system is 100% secure.

9. Cookies & Tracking

10. Canadian Privacy Laws

We comply with Canadian privacy laws including PIPEDA and Ontario privacy regulations. If you are located outside Canada, your information may be processed in Canada.

11. Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 without parental consent. Youth sports photography assumes parent/guardian consent. Contact us immediately if you believe we have collected information from a child without consent.
